It’s used as part of a complete treatment program to manage opioid addiction in adults with moderate-to-severe OUD. Opioids are a group of drugs used for pain management. With opioid addiction, your body becomes dependent on opioids.

How do I get a list of Sublocade drug doses?

Additionally, the current list may be obtained by calling the SUBLOCADE REMS Program at 1-866-258-3905. SUBLOCADE is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe opioid use disorder in patients who have initiated treatment with a transmucosal buprenorphine-containing product, followed by dose adjustment for a minimum of 7 days.

Which patients are appropriate for Sublocade?

Patients appropriate for SUBLOCADE are adults who have initiated treatment on a transmucosal buprenorphine-containing product delivering the equivalent of 8 to 24 mg of buprenorphine daily. The patient may only be transitioned to SUBLOCADE after a minimum of 7 days.

What are the side effects of Sublocade?

Sublocade side effects. Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction to Sublocade: hives, itching; severe dizziness; wheezing, difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Opioid medicine can slow or stop your breathing, and death may occur.
